Love letter.

Dear Mr. Fixitall,
I write to you because I am so utterly broken.
I write to you with the wish that you have a needle and thread, for my seams are slowly ripping, and stuffing is falling out all over the floor.
If my seams are soon fixed, please unwind the thread that they call my lips.
Make me a belly.
I want to be filled with honey.
Make me a heart that beats.
I want to be filled with love.
If you would, please, keep my lips unsewn, for I could never keep these feelings for you as dormant thoughts.
Mr. Fixitall,
I want to feel.
Sew me new feelings of joy and inspiration
Paint me dreams
and let me call them mine.
Do not be alarmed when you find that all my dreams are of you
For the moment you put these thoughts in my head, I fell in love.
And oh to be immersed in the feeling of love, how the heart you gave me beats twice as fast when you're around.
And though the fantasy of infatuation is timeless, even the mightiest of bears begin to whither.
The thread will eventually unwind again.
Everything will break and my tummy will turn to cotton balls.
I will be unfixable.
But know that I will die a happy bear,
because you showed me the most beautiful thing in the world,
How to love.
Sincerely,
Miss Teddy B

17 Things you might not have known about me...

1. I collect heart rocks. See them everywhere. Always wonder if they find me, or if I'm just always looking.
2. My sister Isabelle is my hero, and I'm pretty sure she's the next Picasso.
3. My current favourite song is Little Lion Man by Mumford and Sons.
4. I've also been listening to Florence + The Machine, and The XX.
5. Don't know what I'd do without my guitar, piano and surfboard. Here's a quick jam.

6. I love cats.
7. I just caught a fly with my hand, just right now!
8. I can doodle for days.
9. I paint.

10. I follow fashion.
11. My favourite colour is green.
12. Hiking is almost as good as surfing, and I want to find this place.

14. I will never get a twitter.
15. I am extremely ADD, some would even go as far as saying ADHD.. but I love it, I'm never bored.
16. The Ranch is my dream.
17. Did you notice I left out 13? Bad luck avoidance.
18. I don't really believe in bad luck actually, only the power of the human mind. And within the restraints of our little bodies and out little brains, we can still find the most powerful force in the universe:
LOVE.

Rest In Peace Andy Irons

-In Memory of a Hero-
____________
Wandering aimlessly through reality
Taking for granted the brilliant light that shines from above
We often forget that even the brightest stars in the sky begin to fade
Their light becomes so normal, and soon even unnoticed
Until they are gone, and we are left in the dark
When the dark comes over us
 we feel hopeless,
 defeated.
As if the thread that connected us and reality broke
and the patchwork that we thought was life became a mere fabrication
And though the pain and sadness of our loss keeps us in the dark
we must find our own light through the memory of that which we have lost
For a star that shines so bright also passes its light on to others
And through remembrance of a brilliant star
a new light will shine.
_______________
Rest In Peace Andy Irons, You will be forever remembered.

TAHITI Photos....

Let's start this off with Mr. Morgan. International man of mystery. He was the photog for this trip. His mind is slightly bizarre, and that's why we're friends.

And then there was Scott, the international man of filming. What a talented individual. Surprisingly comfortable in front of the lens as well.

The Girls, with Paige and Courtney missing...

The first day. Moorea Island. Before I hit the reef. Photos of that later.

5 o'clock sunrise heading to Moorea another day.                   Sunset off Moorea same day.

WHALE! First day we swam arm distance from a humpback whale and her baby. SOOO SICK!

Teahupoo. The motherload. Such a nuts wave even when it's small. Felicity Palmateer was charging on this trip. I don't know who's in this shot though...

The view from Mami's and Papi's at Teahupoo. They were some of the kindest people I've ever met. Wish I took a photo of them, don't know what I was thinking. Stupid. Anyway, best trip I've ever taken. Thanks Billabong!!!

My Friend Morgan

This is my friend Morgan's photography.
Mindblowing.
Enjoy.

SAN FRANSISCO!!!

So this weekend, me and my friends Bo and Shaye took a roadtrip up to San Fransisco to this music festival called Treasure Island. It was really rad. I had a milkshake on the way there, and on the way back, I had a sundae from McDonalds, a choco covered icecream cone from Dairy Queen, and another shake from In n Out. I don't have a problem, no seriously. I do. Anyway, we got to see Dead Mau5, Miike Snow, Phantogram, and LCD Soundsystem. It was SICK!!!

I need help.

And there was a legit rainbow.

Drinking Out of Cups

Some of my words

Here's some poetry I wrote a bit back. Enjoi.
May 10, 2009

The stitches of society
are starting to unfold
the story of our history
that was never told
the consciousness that bleeds the truth
is more tangible to hold
and once we realize
what we've sacrificed
to materialize what
we call "civilized"
our souls already sold
we've planted poisons deeper
than roots can ever reach
poaching and enroaching
on the promise land we seek
from crystal trickles of a stream
departing from its creek
to a dried up land
parched and cold
translations to the bleak
carcasses of fantasies
of far off lands that used to be
with creatures but the size of moons
that lain beneath the sea
i close my eyes to fantasize
of when it used to rain
and when we finally realize
the impact of our stain
the life of earth
that we have drained
and what were we to gain?
but a nickel and a long lost world
for future generations to endure the pain
